tibetan Terriers were kept as good luck charms, mascots, watchdogs, herding dogs, and companions. They were also used to retrieve articles that fell down mountainsides. Dr. Agnes Greig of England brought the first Tibetan Terrier to Europe in 1922.

The Tibetan Terrier has a minimal-shedding coat, which can make them a good choice for people with allergies. To maintain their coat, Tibetan Terriers need to be brushed at least two to three times a week to prevent matting.

The Tibetan Terrier is smart, pleasant, and affectionate. Gentle but fun loving, he's dedicated to his family. they have a medium prey drive.

They respond well to positive reinforcement techniques, including rewards, praise, and consistency in training. Early socialisation and puppy training classes are highly recommended to help them develop good manners and proper behaviour. This breed can be stubborn.

The Cairn Terrier is a breed of short-legged dogs, one of several that developed on the Scottish island of Skye. These are working dogs that have been used to hunt small animals like fox, badger and otter from at least the 15th century.

The Cairn Terrier doesn't shed too much, a brush two times a week should be enough for regular maintenance. Careful hand stripping to remove dead hair and to help the coat and skin remain healthy is necessary two-four times a year. Use of clippers or shears is not advised as it can ruin the dog’s rugged coat.

Cairn Terriers are known as the quintessential terriers – spirited, bold, inquisitive, independent, tough, strong willed and clever. They enjoy human company, and most of these dogs are known to try and do things to please their owners. They also have a high prey drive.

The Cairn Terrier can be a sensitive dog, and training should always be firm, but never harsh. It can be stubborn, and early obedience training is highly recommended. Its active nature means that about an hour walk everyday is needed to keep the Cairn Terrier happy.

Our Dogs
All of our dogs are subjected to a wisdom panel DNA health test. This Health check tests for over 260+ genetic health conditions and insures that our dogs are as healthy as possible. If you’d like to see these results please feel free to ask. The dogs have also had their BVA eyes checks yearly as recommended by the kennel club. All of our Tibetan Terriers have a hip and elbow scan.
Parents will be viewable when you come to view the litter of puppies, you are also more than welcome to meet the other dogs as well. We are also more than happy to show anybody around house where the dogs spend their time and explain care our dogs receive.. just ask!
Our Home
Our dogs are family members and therefore raised within our household. We are NOT a kennel.
Our dogs are exposed to different animals from rabbits to cats to horses. They’re exposed to lots of different sounds and textures from a young age to ensure a confident puppy.
There are also well socialised with children.
Adult dogs have free run of the house and sleep in the crate at night.
For the first four weeks of your puppy's life they would’ve lived in a whelping box with 24/7 supervision, during this time puppies development increases rapidly, they receive toys, space and experiences to reflect their needs.
After four weeks they tend to come alive a little bit more and start learning to use their feet and playing with toys. at this point they get a 6‘ x 2‘ playpen, this is the time we start solids and potty training as well as sound exposure. Your puppy will come to you having been taught how to use a small piece of Astroturf for the bathroom. You’ll be given instructions on how to continue this training at home.

This purchase choice is for anybody that is looking to breed in the future. All of the above is included but we will also agree to remove all endorsements should you meet the agreed requirements. Please note the relevant health checks are still required, you will be signing a contract and endorsements will be in place until the relevant health checks have been completed and the dog is of correct age. Please note: breeding takes time, money and lots of patience. It is not for the faint of heart and it isn’t just a quick way to make extra cash, our price reflects this as we will only sell to serious breeders.. please be prepared to answer questions.

Find yourself in a hard situation in the future and can’t keep your Puppy? We will always take our puppies back and part of the sale will include a no sales contract. This is to prevent puppies from ending up in rescue centres or within the wrong hands.

Collection:
We are in Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire, less then 5 minutes from Burnham Beeches(SL2 3TE). Weekday or Saturday collection times available.
There is a small Tesco, Sainsburys and Costa walking distance from the house and also we are only 10 minutes drive from Beaconsfield services.

In order to reserve your chosen puppy you must leave a £400 deposit. A puppy is not reserved until a deposit is received.
video calls are started with puppies from 4 weeks of age, you can leave a deposit after this call or we recommend you come and visit when puppies are 6 weeks, this is the best time to pick your puppy and you can leave a deposit at the end of the visit.

Once reserved you will receive regular updates of your puppy via WhatsApp or email.
Puppies are ready to be collected from 8 weeks old but are welcome to stay with us for longer if new owner would prefer.
If the puppy stays with us past 10 weeks old then second vaccine costs may apply. If so this will be + £75 and your puppy will come to you fully vaccinated.
